Philip DeLorenzo, former Piermont resident and local historian, The Piermont Historical Society would like to acknowledge the great effort Mr. Philip DeLorenzo made in keeping Piermont’s history alive. Not only did he amass a treasure trove of historic images and news clippings, the society was fortunate enough to have interviewed him for two of our documentaries, “Last Stop USA - Piermont’s Role in WWII” and “Piermont Papermill - Stories from the Factory”. Our thoughts are with his family at their time of loss. We greatly appreciate his dedication and service to the Piermont Historical Society and to Piermont.
